I recently came across the company, Spreadshirt, that provides custom clothing. Their custom program allows customers to design or personalize their own clothing. Spreadshirt offers over 100 unique products to meet a variety of needs. They even have the opportunity for people to design t-shirts and open a T-Shirt Shop online to sell their creations. Along with the chance to custom design, Spreadshirt also offers a large variety of pre-made images, designs, and ideas. Emily Reviews was happy to partner with them to bring you this review.

I decided that I wanted to try out the “Design Your Own” line. I typically wear a lot of capris in the Spring, Summer, and Fall so I chose the Women’s Capris Fitness Pants. I then spent a long time (about two hours) trying out different designs on the capris. I moved, resized, and rearranged many times before I settled on a choice. I found the design tools quite easy to use and there were many choices. Almost too many choices because I had to keep trying different ones out.
Once I received the capris, I was pleased to see that they both looked and felt like higher quality material. While the design I chose seems a little larger and more centered than I thought it had looked on the screen, I’m happy with the end result. The capris are comfortable, cute, run true to size, and it was a fun adventure to try my hand at designing. Even our daughter commented on these the first time I wore them and how cute they were.

Over a year ago I discovered this funny video on the web of a baby monkey riding on the back of a little pig. There is a funny song that accompanies the video and it’s a really catchy song. I found that it got stuck in my head so I would go back and replay the video to try to get it out. One day my niece Ava was over while I played the song and she saw the video and fell in love. Whenever she comes over she still asks me to play the video for her on my computer. So when I saw that Spreadshirt had this adorable kids baby monkey riding backwards on a pig shirt, I knew I had to get it for her. One of the cool things about Spreadshirt is their designs are offered on so many colors, sizes and types of products. In the case of this design, I got to choose from 13 different types/styles of t-shirts (including hoodies, baseball tees, onies, bodysuits & more!). I went with the basic Kids T-shirt and that style has eight colors to choose from. I went with Royal Blue.
The size chart covers all children’s sizes and uses measurements to let you know the size of the shirt. Seems how she’s my niece, I didn’t have a shirt of hers laying around to measure so I kind of guessed. She wears a girls size 8 in shirts and I went with a medium but I think a small or maybe even an extra small would have been a better fit. I wear a women’s small and this shirt is just a tad snug on me, so I think its closer to a girls large (10/12) as a girls X-L (14/16) is pretty close to what I wear. Despite my mistake ordering the wrong size, it’s a cute shirt that I know she’ll enjoy wearing even if its just as a PJ shirt until she gets a bit bigger. I like how vibrant the coloring is and the shirt feels like nice quality. Next time that I am in the market for a unique t-shirt or clothing design I’ll definitely be going back to Spreadshirt.

I would like to hear how they are once you sweat in them. I get nervous about grey workout clothes because when my inner thighs sweat, it looks like you pee you pants! I try to pick fabrics that don’t show sweat on my bottom as much.
Since I’ve only been wearing these around the house and chasing after the kids, I haven’t really been sweaty. However, I did sprinkle a little water on them and they turned dark grey immediately so I would stay away from this color grey if you’re worried about sweat showing. 🙂
