Winter is on its way and usually pretty ferocious here in Minnesota. Every year, I struggle with finding a good pair of slippers for the kids. Every year, I’ve failed. I have never quite found a really spectacular pair of booties or slippers for our children, till now. I came across the site, Toggle Toes, and was really intrigued by the design and comfortable look their slippers had. I was happy to partner with Beth, the owner of Toggle Toes for this review.
I was sent a pair of slippers for our 3 year old and 18 month old boys. Because Beth makes sure that each and every pair is absolutely perfect, I received our younger sons pair first and the second pair was shipped a few days later. Our three year old was between sizes so she created a special size just for him. I love that Beth is so dedicated to providing the best product possible that she took time out of her already full schedule to make him a special pair that would be perfect for his feet.
I received the camouflage pair for our 18 month old. I was surprised at how easily they went on but truly did stay on. He even napped in them and they were both still on when he awoke. The slippers slide easily on and then I just pull the “clip” on the string to a snug fit. Easy. I also like that the bottoms have a slightly more durable piece but are still flexible and comfortable.
By the time our 3 year olds pair arrived a few days later, he was beyond excited with anticipation. As soon as I told him his package arrived, he wouldn’t let it 6 inches from his side. He was so bubbly with excitement that I even had a hard time getting a decent photo because he wouldn’t sit still! (PS. He dressed himself the day of these photos.) His pair is just as perfect as his brothers. Comfy, cozy, and easy to put on and take off.
I really like our Toggle Toes and they truly are the best children’s slippers I have ever seen. I’m glad the boys love them too because they wear them all the time now. These were definitely made with love and packaged with care.
About Toggle Toes:
Toggle Toes was started over 14 years ago with a mothers desire to have something that would stay on her daughters feet. Since money was tight, with two little girls by her side and a sewing machine, Beth created pair of polar fleece slippers was personally designed and created for her daughters. She also created a few pairs to give as gifts. After many requests for the chance to purchase these booties, she began creating slippers to sell. From selling out in three boutiques, orders, and reorders, Toggle Toes was at top production for this mom with now three little girls and another on the way. Then came the surprising twist of Hanna Anderson wanting 500 pairs! This was not doable alone so interviews with sewing contractors began. This was a decision that would hold hefty consequences if not successful. Unfortunately, 8 months later left Beth standing at the grave of her tiny stillborn daughter. No longer having the desire to create booties that her precious daughter wouldn’t be able to wear, Toggle Toes was put aside. Now, years later, Beth takes joy in the fact that she is once again creating these amazing slippers for her customers. She has created slippers/booties for infants, toddlers, children, and even adults.

Well these are really unique and very much needed. With all their fussing, it’s not easy to keep those slippers and socks on. I like the camouflage pair you featured, the best.
These look really neat! So cute and cozy looking.
