When we had our first child, we purchased a dresser that had a flip open “changing area” on top. While it was a nice large area, we had to flip it closed to get into her dresser so it was a pain. Because it was being flipped multiple times a day, we couldn’t have a traditional changing pad so I had my Grandma sew a thick “mat” that I could flip in half with the dresser top. After we upgraded to a nicer dresser/changing station, I purchased a changing pad. While I never really cared for the standard diaper pad style, it was all that our local big box stores carried. About a year ago, we went to the big city and I came across the Keekaroo Peanut Changer. It stopped me in my tracks and I fell in love with the unique design. Keekaroo sent me a sample to enable this review.
The first thing to catch my eye was the pop of color and unique style that the Keekaroo Peanut Changer offers. While covers are available to enhance the look of the standard diaper pads, they get dingy, dirty, and add to my laundry pile. The Peanut Changer is available in a variety of colors to match every theme and preference: Cherry, Lilac, Lime, Aqua, Chocolate, Pumpkin, and Latte.
The Keekaroo Peanut Changer is made from a firm but soft-to-the touch durable material. Not only that, the Peanut Changer is also water resistant which means it is easy to clean. Diaper changes can get messy and I love knowing that my Peanut Changer can be wiped down and free from germs and bacteria quickly and easily. Being water resistant will also inhibit the growth of mold on it.
The Dura-Soft material of the Keekaroo Peanut Changer is also puncture and crack resistant. The durable outer shell is tough enough to withstand daily use and hold up for years to come.
The Peanut Changer is slip resistant and stays in place on our changing table. Safety straps are also built into the Peanut Changer to secure the child while using. The straps are nice and thick and have a high quality feel.
We really like the Keekaroo Peanut Changer. Our son is now to the stage where it practically takes two people to change him. I can’t get him to lay still for 10 seconds, much less a whole diaper change. I’ve been strapping him into the Keekaroo Peanut Changer and diaper changes have become a breeze!

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.
