The HC12W Ultrasonic Vase Humidifier is a great modern twist to the classic humidifier.  Luma Comfort created this vase design so they could offer a staple item that would blend into most home decor.  Upon opening the box, I was immediately happy with the beautiful look.  Based on the stock photo, I had been skeptical on how well it could fit into an every day family home but the sleek design makes perfect for every kind of home.  There was very little assembly required and we had the HC12W filled with water and running within about 15 minutes.  That includes letting it sit for about 5 minutes before starting it but after filling it with water.  This is suggested to give the filter time to get saturated.

We put the HC12W in our dining room because that is the most central location on our main level.  Within a couple hours of starting, we had a noticeable difference in air quality.  We keep the setting on low and there is a slight mist noticeable coming out of it but there are 8 different settings to choose from to customize to individual needs.

The HC12W comes with 2 choices for “tops”.  There is a long neck attachment or a short one.  We are using the long one which measure about 44 inches high.  Both attachments seem to yield the same result so we let the kids choose which one to keep on.
