I have made a personal decision to use cosmetics with natural, botanical or organic ingredients. In researching companies that provide such products, I recently discovered LUSH USA cosmetic company.
LUSH offers fresh handmade cosmetics. LUSH believes in making products with fresh high quality ingredients. They strive to make unique products without preservatives and use Eco-friendly packaging. LUSH products are 100% Vegetarian and they NEVER test on animals.
I received the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser, Light Pink supplement and Emotional Brilliance Translucent face powder. The first thing I noticed about my LUSH products were stickers on the outside of each package telling me who made the products and when they were created. I thought that was really neat; it made me feel connected to the employees and told me that my products were indeed freshly handcrafted. Then I noticed that there was very little packaging. I didn’t have a million different boxes and wrappers to throw away before I could use my products. The last thing I noticed before using them was how pretty they were. The products themselves were attractive and had a nice clean scent if any at all. Finally, it was time to “test” the products.
Angels on Bare Skin is a mild cleanser with a gentle scrub. It contains kaolin clay, lavender and rose. I love Angels on Bare Skin cleanser. It is perfect for sensitive and/or combination skin. After cleansing with Angels on Bare Skin, my face felt clean, moisturized and refreshed.
Light Pink supplement is suitable for light skin tones, and those with a pink or peach undertone. Light Pink can be used right out of the bottle as a concealer or mixed with a little of your favorite face moisturizer and used as a foundation. Light Pink provides nice coverage, blends well and has a light texture.
Emotional Brilliance Translucent face powder works well on a fresh face and/or over foundation. It gives a matte look without feeling cakey. Emotional Brilliance Translucent contains talc and jojoba oil for smooth coverage and hydration.
I am pleased with all three of my LUSH products. They each did what they said they would do. I would love to try more products from this company.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
I love Lush!! I’m also looking to incorporate more of their cosmetics into my routine.
