February is National Pet Dental Health Month. Just like dental health is important for humans, it is just as important for pets, yet is often neglected. Not many of us find the time to regularly brush our pet’s teeth, like we probably should. However, luckily there are treats that help keep our pet’s teeth and mouth clean, without requiring any effort on our part. Chewy.com carries Greenies, dental dog treats for your dog! I was very happy to be able to try out some Greenies.

Greenies claim to have a taste that dog’s love. So, did my dog love them? Yes, she did! My dog quickly started jumping for joy any time I opened the bag. I was amazed how quickly she ate this treat. The treat itself is rather hard, and she had to chew on it for a bit, but didn’t stop until she was done, a great sign that she really loved it. I liked that I could help my dog’s teeth, just by giving her a treat that she really enjoyed. It wasn’t a hassle, or a chore whatsoever.

I also noticed that it did indeed help my dog’s breath. She didn’t have the typical dog breath after eating these regularly. It is recommended to give your dog one Greenies Dog Treat a day. Doing so can keep your dog’s teeth and mouth nice and healthy.

I received the Regular size Greenies dental dog treats for review, but my dog is quite small, as she’s a miniature pinscher. These treats were too big for her. I ended up cutting them in half, but that is not an easy task, and I really wouldn’t recommend it. These are really hard, solid treats, so cutting them require sawing them in half. I would definitely recommend to simply get the correct size treat to begin with. Greenies come in sizes for every dog size range, so you can find just the right size for your dog.

Overall, I really enjoyed the Greenies dental dog treats from Chewy.com. Dental health is very important for dogs, and having good oral health can add years to their life. Greenies are a great way to get a clean and healthy mouth for your dog, without having to spend time struggling to brush their teeth.
