I received products from Jiva Cubes for my review. All opinions are my own.
When it comes to making coffee, you have two basic ingredients: coffee grounds and water. In some form or another, you combine the two and end up with a delicious cup of coffee. Right? Wrong! No matter how many times I make coffee, I end up with completely different cups of coffee. More often than not, my coffee comes out really weak. To correct this, the next time I brew, I alter the amounts of coffee grounds and/or water; then I end up with a super strong cup of coffee. I never want to give up on something, but I have pretty much given up on making a good cup of coffee.
Every morning my husband brews the perfect pot of coffee. Our drip coffee maker allows us to each enjoy one cup before we need to make more. This is great for me until he leaves for work and I decide I want a second cup. What to do? Jiva Cubes to the rescue!
Jiva Cubes are single serve coffee cubes. They are made with Colombian coffee and raw unrefined cane sugar. To brew, you simply place one cube in 4-6 ounces of warm water or milk. Wait 30 seconds then stir and enjoy. Each Jiva Cube only has 35 calories. They are available in Classic flavor, Caramel, French Vanilla, Hazelnut and Mocha.
As we speak, it is snowing outside. I am inside a warm house, sitting by the fire and enjoying a cup of Jiva Cubes caramel coffee. I enjoy each of the flavors, but caramel is definitely my favorite right now. I have come to rely on Jiva Cubes for my extra cup of coffee. They taste great and are easy enough for even me to make.
If you aren’t a coffee drinker, Jiva Cubes also offers Hot Chocolate. These cubes are made with cacao power, raw cane sugar and Panela. Jiva Cubes Hot Chocolate has been kid-approved in my house. Jiva Cubes Hot Chocolate is available in regular and caramel.
Jiva Cubes products are Vegan, Gluten-free, Kosher and Fair Trade.
I can think of many situations where Jiva Cubes would come in handy other than while your husband/barista is at work. How about taking Jiva Cubes camping, to the office, send them to our loved ones who are serving our country, and/or include them in an emergency survival kit.
I decided to share a few of my Jiva Cubes with our school special helpers. My daughters and I crafted Valentine’s day hearts with a note that says “ The biggest “perk” to school is you!” and then attached a Jiva Cube to the heart. (I also included directions on the back.) I hope this makes some really wonderful people feel appreciated this Valentine’s day.
You can purchase Jiva Cubes on their website. You can also connect with Jiva Cubes on facebook, twitter and pinterest.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I need to try these Jiva Cubes. I used instant coffee to decrease my overindulgence in too much coffee and it worked. I take in much less caffeine, so this would be a great treat to indulge in.
Interesting! I’m going to have to look into getting these for my in-laws. We aren’t big coffee drinkers so we often don’t have coffee in the house…they are big coffee drinkers and are always looking for coffee when they come visit us. This might just be the answer – this way I can keep coffee in the house and it won’t get old. And I just love that it comes in flavors. The caramel flavor almost makes me want to become a coffee drinker! YUM!
