Being from Minnesota, the Winter is really tough on my skin. While I have always suffered from acne, I end up with dry, cracked, and peeling skin during the cold dry Winters. In the past, I’ve shied away from moisturizers because I tend to react or break out even more from them. After reading about Marina Kodi and their dedication to providing high quality products, I decided that I wanted to give their moisturizers a try. I received their Ocean Princess Mineral Moisturizer and their Peptide Complex Natural Moisturizer. I have found both Moisturizers to be a great blessing that has decreased the dryness of my cheeks without causing any adverse reactions. One small pump will give a little more than a pea sized amount and this is enough to cover my whole face. A little goes a long way with these quality moisturizers! I was able to notice a difference in the softness of my skin and less dry patches within two days of using the Ocean Princess Mineral Moisturizer. I, personally, haven’t been able to tell much of a difference between the Moisturizers as they both seem to work well for me.
The other product I received for this review was the “Passion Fuse” Perfume Oil. Marina Kodi also offers Perfume Oil in “Enchanted Garden” and “Sunrise In Paris” scents. I really like the roll-on application as it makes applying extremely easy. With that said, in my opinion, the scent is quite strong at first and a little too much for my particular taste. It’s most likely because I don’t tend to wear perfume much these days and I’m just not used to it. Being a busy mom to four kids, we rarely go out so I just don’t take the time to put any on very often. After about 10 minutes, the fragrance does seem to “calm down” and is not as over-powering to me. I would describe the scent as deep.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates.
