Since I enjoy cooking and baking, I have many different tools in our kitchen.  One thing that I have lacked, though, is a kitchen scale.  Every time I come across a recipe that calls for a measurement by weight, I end up taking my best guess.  This has not always worked and I’ve had recipes flop a little because of my guessing.  I have been on a mission to purchase a kitchen scale multiple times and always come home empty-handed because I either couldn’t find a good quality scale at the big box store I stopped at or I just plain forgot to look!  (I can’t be the only one that comes home without the one product I went for, can I?)  So when Moderna Housewares offered to send me their Ozeri Touch II Scale, I was excited for this review.

We have found the Ozeri Touch II Kitchen Scale to be user friendly.  With a slight touch of a button, I am able to change measurement type or zero out the scale.  I also like that I can hold the power/tare button for a couple seconds and I am able to manually shut the scale off instead of waiting for the auto.

One thing that I would like to see changed on the Touch II Kitchen Scale is the display.  It is hard to see at certain angles.  I have the best view at a 45 degree angle but if I try to read from straight above, the numbers become invisible.  I would love Ozeri to make the scale readable at more angles for a slightly easier use.  However, as you can see from the photos, the number is easily visible at the correct angle.
