Many people have made New Year’s resolutions to begin eating healthier.  Some people have made this vow years ago and are still going strong.  Or perhaps there are some people out there that are saying that today will be the first day of the rest of their lives and are making that change now.  Either way, VAN’S Natural Foods offers some great tasting products to help along the way.  While the VAN’S name originally started as a restaurant in California, by the late 1980’s, they decided to offer their products to more customers by making them available in grocery stores.  VAN’S Natural Foods company has a strong passion for delivering healthy but great-tasting food that will enhance the lives of their customers.  They carry a selection of products including gluten free, natural and organic snacks and frozen breakfast foods.

I received an assortment of VAN’S Natural Foods snacks and coupons for some of their frozen products.  While I haven’t found a store near me to redeem the coupons yet, we have been snacking on the samples we received.  The Gluten-Free Multi Grain Chips are available in two flavors: Mighty Good BBQ and Nacho, Nacho Man.  We have found both flavors to be yummy and, while they can be eaten plain, our family prefers to eat them with salsa for a really great taste.  Crispy, tasty, and full of flavor.  My husband is especially a big fan of these chips.

The other samples we have gotten to taste is from their Snack Bar Line.  Currently available in five flavors: Chocolate Chip, Cranberry Almond, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Blueberry & Peanut Butter, and Strawberry & Peanut Butter, we received the Blueberry & Peanut Butter and Strawberry & Peanut Butter flavors.  While my husband and children do enjoy them, I personally don’t care for the taste.  I’ve never been a “fruit bar” or peanut butter sandwich person so I think the Chocolate Chip would have been a better fit for me.  Based on their opinions, they are really yummy.  A nice clean taste that is the perfect combination of sweetness, chewy, and flavor.
