Moving in late January has really made the first couple months of 2014 fly by for me. I can’t believe we’re almost half way through March already! St Patrick’s day is March 17th, and Cheryl’s is prepared with several St Patrick’s day themed cookie assortments.

Cheryl's buttercream bucket

I was recently sent the St Pats Buttercream Bucket. This includes 20 cookies in a really cute pail. The cookies are all individually wrapped, making this a suitable snack to bring to a school, team or work type event. While we just enjoyed the basket at home, we liked knowing that the cookies were staying fresh until we opened them. The bucket includes a handful of buttermilk cookies that are frosted in 4 leaf clover designs. They are really soft, sweet and incredibly yummy. I am not usually a big sweet tooth person (I go for salty snacks most of the time) but these were so good that I wanted to have multiple cookies in a row. The leprechaun and pot of gold cookies were labeled as being crunchy sugar cookies and were quite stiff. We opted to eat these after dipping them in milk.

The basket also included regular sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, pretzel clusters and a couple of other varieties. Ryan LOVED the pretzel clusters (despite not being a huge pretzle fan). He said they were unlike any other cookie that he had ever tried and that they had a definite gourmet, delicate feel to them.

The basket made for a fun way to experience new treats and celebrate St Patricks day. It could be fun to order this basket and then send one of the decorated cookies in a cold lunch for your child or significant other as a surprise. I also liked how the basket is cute and reusable. The St Patrick’s day label can easily be removed so you can use it plain or add your own label to use it for storage or decoration.

The basket costs $28.99 and right now is included in the free shipping deal going on at Cheryl’s.

There are some amazing cookies. I like the Buttercream Frosted Cookies in the BOW GIFT BOX – 36CT FROSTED CUTOUTS.

I keep forgetting about Cheryl’s Cookies as a gift for my sister. Her name is also Cheryl, but sometimes I don’t know if she’s watching her weight, so I don’t send them, lol. These would be great for the office though, without slaving away. I bet that have awesome Halloween cookies too.
