There are many products on the market these days for infants and toddlers.  Some times, it may be hard to decipher which ones are needs versus the products that will never get used or won’t live up to expectations.  The problem lies with the fact that everyone has different lifestyles and while some products are perfect for one family, they may not work at all for others.  However, there are a few products that I consider pretty much must-haves across the board for everyone.  The first one would be a car seat.  Safety is very important no matter if you drive every day with your child or only once a week or month.  A car seat can be a vital life saving device in the event of an accident.  Another product that I find very useful is the play yard.  Even if only used on holidays at grandparents houses, a play yard is the perfect place for an infant or toddler to take a nap while in a safe confined environment.  Add in all the great features of the Ingenuity Emerson Washable Play Yard Deluxe With Dream Center and it becomes a useful product from the day the baby comes home from the hospital.

I am amazed at how far play yards have come since they were first introduced.  All of these great features really create an amazing useful product for parents of infants and toddlers.  I really like the colors of the Emerson style too.  The fact that the Dream Center is at a slight incline is perfect for babies who have acid reflux issues.

The only thing I’d love to see Ingenuity provide is the option to purchase a replacement carry bag.  While the two different reps I spoke with were very understanding, helpful, and kind, I was unable to purchase a replacement for the one that my husband accidentally threw away when he was cleaning up boxes and trying to be helpful.  I would love to see an option to purchase replacement bags right on their website as I’m sure I won’t be the only one to have something happen to this part since it could get easily misplaced while the Play Yard is in use.
