One of the great pleasures I find in offering my mother presents for Mother’s Day is finding something unique that I know she will love but that she would never splurge and purchase herself. It makes it very special that I not only too the time to find something tailored to her likes but also that I took extra care to pamper her with something more luxurious that she will treasure for years and years.

Finding such items can be tricky though, which is why this year I suggest you take a look at the new DKNY collection for Lenox. It is available at Macy’s and they have many great tablescape items. Some are very bold and graphic like the Urban Graffiti line, some are colorful and striped like the Urban Essentials which comes in white, blue, or red, with multi-colored stripes. There is also the more classic Urban Impressions lines that come in parchment (white) or onyx (black). No matter which style mom favors, DKNY has something to suit her.

This year, I decided I too deserved a little something special for Mother’s Day. I personally opt for timeless pieces that are versatile and have a sophisticated yet distinctive look. I look for pieces that will stand the test of time not only because of their design but also because of their high-quality. When I saw the Urban Essentials Glass Pitcher and matching set of 4 Highball Glasses, I knew it was exactly what I was looking for!

This pitcher and the coordinating highball glasses are one of a kind. They have a sleek and very modern design with clean lines, no unnecessary etchings or textures. Just pure high-quality glass with a touch of color at the base. The pitcher has a translucent blue and green base whereas each glass has a different 2-color translucent base (blue/green, teal/orange, green/purple, red/green). The subtle touch of color is unexpected and fun. And if you’re like me, it’s a great way to remember which glass is yours since they are all unique! As a side note, they should be handwashed to preserve the colors.

The pitcher is 10” and is great for summer drinks like homemade lemonade. I can’t wait to try it with sangria too! The glasses can hold 16 oz and are surprisingly light because of the thin high-quality glass. If you prefer smaller glasses, you can also get a set of 4 10 oz. old-fashioned glasses from the same Urban Essentials collection.

I am very happy with this stylish addition from Lenox to our tableware. The sleek tapered design of the pitcher and the color accents on the pitcher and the glasses are elegant and will complement any tableware. Go ahead and pamper your mother will this beautiful set. It’ll be a special gift that she will remember and love for years to come!
