I received Disney books for my review. All opinions are my own.
Have you seen Disney’s new movie called Frozen? If not, you are really missing out. In my opinion, this is the best movie Disney has made in a long time. That’s not to say I haven’t liked other recently released Disney movies (Tangled is another favorite), it’s just that Frozen is that good!
My daughters can recite most of the movie Frozen. They often act it out and sing the now well-known songs. When asked who their favorite characters are, they girls get flabbergasted. They simply can’t decide who they love more. I personally love Sven!
For our review, we received four Frozen storybooks: A Sister More Like Me, Frozen Read-Along Storybook & CD, Frozen Junior Novelization and A Tale of Two Sisters.
I surprised the girls with two books for each of them. I gave Cheyenne (5 years old) A Tale of Two Sisters and Frozen Read-Along Storybook & CD. These two books are suggested for her age. I also felt that hearing the story on CD would encourage her to read along in the book. She absolutely loves these books. I often see her looking at the pictures and she requests them to be read to her almost nightly.
I gave Savannah (7 years old) the Frozen Junior Novelization and A Sister More Like Me. These titles were for suggested for kids her age or older. Savannah is a great reader so I knew she wouldn’t have any problems with the Frozen Junior Novelization chapter book. She immediately read both books after receiving them. She said she likes that she now has the choice to watch the move or read the books.
All four books do a great job of staying true to the movie theme while still being creative and interesting. The illustrations are done beautifully.
If you have little ones who enjoyed the movie Frozen, I suggest you also pick-up one (or more) of the books above. I have a feeling, we will be adding to our collection of Frozen merchandise.
You can learn more about Frozen and all of the fun merchandise on Disney.com. You may also connect with Disney Reads on facebook.
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

We love Frozen! My girls would flip over this. Cute pictures. She looks like she loves her new books.
I bet my daughter would enjoy the novelization, she has one for Dolphin Tale that she’s read about 6 times. My sons, unfortunately, weren’t as into the movie.
