I participated in an Ambassador Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Huggies. I received product samples to facilitate my review and to thank me for my participation.
My niece Kelsie is 13 months old and although she just started walking, she is very busy. She has no interest in laying down for any reason, so for the last few months she’s fussed and cried when it was time to lay down for a diaper change. At first, I could sing to her or give her a pacifier to distract her and she’d calm down – as long as I could hurry, anyway. Lately, she’d be fussy no matter how fast I was – she simply had no interest in laying down.
When offered the change to try Huggies Little Movers Slip-Ons diapers, I was hopeful that they would make diaper changes more enjoyable for Kelsie. These are diapers designed for babies who are standing or walking. The front features Tigger while the back reads the diaper size & “back” to help you tell the front from the back.
They slip on over their feet and legs, with stretchy sides that don’t require any adjustments. So, there is no need to lay down! When our Little Movers arrived, Kelsie wasn’t quite walking yet but we had no trouble using the Slip-Ons diapers. I pulled Kelsie onto my lap, and helped her feed her feet into the leg holes in the diaper. Then I stand her up and pull the diaper up and she’s ready to go. The process is a lot faster than using diapers with adjustable sides and Kelsie doesn’t fuss because she doesn’t need to lay down.
Once you’re ready to change the diaper, you can either pull the diaper down and have your baby step out OR the sides break away so that you can change the diaper while they are laying down.
Little Movers Slip Ons come in sizes 3-6. Kelsie is 18lbs and 28 inches tall. The size 3 Slip-Ons Diapers are for 16-28lbs, so Kelsie is at the lower range of fitting into this size. When Kelsie is wearing size 3 diapers with adjustable waists, the tabs cross in the front. She has chubby little thighs but a trim waist and upper body. So, I was a bit concerned that the Huggies Slip Ons in size 3 would be too big. When I first put on on her, the fit did seem different. Other diapers seem to fit her much longer – sagging between her legs. These have more of a round-looking fit because they aren’t as long. Sometimes the diaper material seems to bunch up on her outer hip. Yet, the Huggies Slip Ons hug her thighs and waist well which is of course what really matters. There is stretchy material across her lower back so the diaper never gaps away from her body, even if she is crawling or bending. She’s been using these exclusively for a couple of weeks now and we haven’t had any leaks or blow outs. I’m really impressed with how these diapers can keep a tight enough fit on even a petite baby to prevent leakage while requiring no adjustments at all – just slip them on and go on with the rest of your day.
Do you have a wiggly baby that is always on the go – or even on the run? I’d definitely recommend that you give Huggies Little Movers Slip Ons a try. Head over to the First Fit page on Huggies to get a $1 off coupon. Or, share the coupon with 3 friends and the value will increase to $1.50 off!

A little too late for us now but that would have been amazing for us. Our daughter was a little escape artist/wrestler when it was changing time.

Wiggly they are, right?! These diapers are amazing for those babies on the go. Cute post!

It has been a long time since mine were in pull ups and diapers, but Huggies was always a favorite in my home. It looks like they have just gotten better and better over the years.

We use them for my daughter who is not yet potty training but likes the idea of wearing “big girl pants.” The absorb like diapers, but work like Pull Ups. So they are perfect.
Diapers have improved so much since I’ve had babies. I really love seeing how they are keeping up with the needs of parents and making them fun to wear as well.
