I received products from Grandma Lucy’s for my review. All opinions are my own.

Kaylee, our black lab is about to turn 10 years old; her birthday is June 1^st. We have had Kaylee since she was just a few weeks old. When I went to the house where she was born, I learned that Kaylee was the only girl in a litter of 9 puppies. I went there wanting a female dog so my choice was made for me. This was a good thing because all of the puppies were ADORABLE! I easily could have taken them all home with me.

This year, my two daughters asked if we could please have a larger than normal celebration for Kaylee’s birthday since it is her 10^th. Who am I to say no? We made a list of things Kaylee might like for her birthday gifts. Treats were at the top and the bottom of the list….actually, treats were really the only thing we knew she would love!

I reached out to a company called Grandma Lucy’s and they were happy to send Kaylee some treats for her birthday. Grandma Lucy’s specializes in all natural dog and cat products. Their products are freeze-dried and they don’t contain preservatives or by-products. Grandma Lucy’s food and treats are USDA Organic and made in the USA.

For her special day, Kaylee received Organic Oven Baked Dog Treats in Peach, Freeze-Dried Sweet Potatoes, and Roasted Chicken treats. Kaylee also received samples of Grandma Lucy’s Artisan Freeze-Dried & Grain Free Dog Food.

The girls wanted to give Kaylee the Peach Organic Oven Baked Dog Treats first. Much to our surprise, we found that the treats are teddy bear shaped cookies. You can really smell the fresh peach aroma. They look and smell like something I would serve my daughters. Kaylee seems to really enjoy these treats. She licks her lips after each one and comes running anytime one of us is near the bag.

I love that Grandma Lucy has made a line of nutritious and high quality treats for our fur babies. When Kaylee needs more treats, we will definitely purchase Grandma Lucy’s.
