Our daughter recently turned nine years old and enjoys being a “girly girl” as well as getting down and dirty playing outside with her brothers or exploring around the farm.  But when she laid eyes on the new Groovy Girls Princess Dahlia and Royally Ritzy Bed, the girly side took over and she jumped right into playing Princess.

The Groovy Girls Doll line is celebrating its 16th Birthday this year and has a variety of different dolls available in many different colors, styles, and themes.  Since our daughter still likes princesses, though, Princess Dahlia was a surefire hit.  The little details that Manhattan Toy Company included on Princess Dahlia give her a finished look and make her extra appealing.  She has three felt flowers in her pink streaked blond hair.  The hair is soft to the touch, slightly curly, and oh so cute.  Her ears contain pink stitched-on earrings.  I also like the fact that she is wearing shoes but they are actually part of her feet so they can’t get lost.

The Royally Ritzy Bed comes ready for the Princess to sleep in.  Lined with satin and topped with a coverlet and satin pillow, this bed is the perfect accessory for Princess Dahlia for when she gets tired.
