Thank you PLB
for providing me with a product to review, free of charge,
and for sponsoring this giveaway.
These are my own honest opinions.

plb logo PLB t-shirts are born out of the desire to blend aesthetics and functionality. They are created by Pier-Luk, a great designer in Montreal, Canada. Each of them features a beautiful and imaginative design. Pier-Luk’s style is quite unique in that he favors the use of colorful t-shirts with monochromatic  or dichromatic printed designs.

When PLB was created, it was important that his passion for design and his concern for the environment be the core values. The result is that the clever and unique designs are printed using water-based inks on cotton that is ethically-sourced and sometimes organic. PLB offers a great variety of t-shirts for men, women, kids and babies as well as hoodies and underwear.

They have so many different designs, you may find it difficult to find your favorite! You can easily find a style that suits you by selecting a design or theme or you can browse all the tees in one category (men, women, kids). Here are the 2 designs that I picked for myself:

plb zebra

plb buddhaThe Zebra t-shirt is a 3/4 sleeve t-shirt with a boat neck which I find very flattering. I absolutely love the contrast of the vibrant red with the black and white zebra! And if you look closely, you’ll find a bit of humor in this t-shirt: only the zebra’s stripes create a shadow.

The Buddha t-shirt comes in 3 colors: black, eggplant, and olive. Of course, I chose eggplant since it’s my favorite color. This t-shirt has small cap sleeves and a boat neck. The design is a cool blend of old and modern which I find very captivating.

plb pandaMy daughter also received an adorable Panda t-shirt. It comes in pink and green and features a cute panda surrounded in bamboo shoots. It is available in size 2 years to 12 years. My daughter loves this t-shirt (she learned to say ‘bamboo’ thanks to it!) It’s comfortable and fits her well. It’s a great everyday t-shirt and it can be paired with leggings, jeans, or a denim skirt.

All 3 t-shirts are made of fine cotton that washes well. They can be dried in the dryer at low heat and ironed. They are also very soft and comfortable. As I said before, they are printed using water-based inks which is great for many reasons. They are chemical-free (no solvents, no PVC, etc.). I also discovered that this type of ink is more flexible which means that the designs are soft and less likely to crack. In other words, they will last longer so you’ll get to wear your beautiful t-shirt over and over again without any signs of wear.

Overall, I am really pleased with PLB t-shirts. Their designs are fun and clever! I like how they can be worn casually with jeans or dressed up with jewelry and a vest. Of course, I also love that the cotton is ethically-sourced and also that the inks are eco-friendly and safe. This is yet another proof that modern style and eco-friendly values can be blended to create something unique, sleek, and sustainable.
