Thank you to Sebamed for providing me samples, free of charge, for review. All opinions are my own.
When we had our first child just over nine years ago, I was thrilled to bathe her, dress her, pamper her, and yes, even change her diapers. I had always dreamed of being a mom and it was every bit as amazing as I thought it would be. Even with the sleepless nights and projectile spitting after every feed, it was great. However, as time as went on, I’ve become more aware of the products I use on our children, especially on the infants and toddlers. I had sensitive skin growing up and a couple of our children have seemed to have inherited that from me. So when I came across Sebamed, I was intrigued to learn more about their products.

For this review, I was sent three products from their Baby Care Line: Baby Bubble Bath, Children’s Shampoo, and the Baby Lotion. I found all three products to have a very faint but pleasant smell to them. It’s just a fresh clean scent that I really like.
The Baby Bubble Bath really suds up fast in the tub after we turned the jets on. We ran the jets for about a minute and then shut them off. It seemed like more bubbles built up after we shut the jets off and they lasted the entire bath time. The kids loved it.
Our 3 1/2 year old is quite particular about what shampoo I use on him. He always manages to get some on his face and near his eyes so he’s leery to try anything new. We’ve been using the Sebamed Children’s Shampoo with no problems though. He lets me wash and rinse his hair and has never complained about his eyes with this one.
I don’t typically use lotions very often on the kids because I have a hard time finding kid friendly ones I like. Either they tend to be greasy, full of chemicals, or the scent gives me a headache. I am pleasantly surprised that the Sebamed Baby Lotion has not presented any of these problems. It rubs in smooth and soft and leaves no residue. As I mentioned earlier, the scent is soft and I actually enjoy it.
We have been happy with all of our Sebamed products. They have been kid friendly and work well with no ill side effects. They have a few more products in their Baby Line that I think I will be checking out the next time I see them at the store. I think they would make a great Mother’s Day gift for a new mom. Just pair with a soft towel or some bath toys and it’s a gift that is sure to please and pamper.

I’m a city girl turned country by my awesome husband and we have three busy boys and two darling daughters. I love spending time with my family, reading Karen Kingsbury novels, and catching up with friends while our kiddos have play dates. I’m blessed beyond measure and can’t wait to see what God has in store.

Don’t kids love bubble baths? These sound like really nice products and I’m heading over now to check them out. Thanks for the review, it’s always nice to read about someone else’s experience prior to purchasing products.

It is great when you find products which you can feel good about using with your family. It is good to know Seba Med does not hurt their eyes.

I really need to look into these products. We are moving to more organic items in the house and my son has SPD and is extremely sensitive. I think I would feel good about using the Seba Med products for him.

They look very happy in their non toxic bubble bath. I think it’s so important use the gentlest there is on babies and toddlers. This looks like a great brand to try out! Thanks!

I know you have reviewed this brand in the past, but it’s new to me. I’ve been using baby products on my skin and hair since they become sensitive, so I’m really interested in trying this to see if it also works for adults! I’ll check if my Walgreens sells it.
i need to check these out for my baby, I haven’t heard of these before but they sound nice.
