Am I the only one who ever feels overwhelmed when it comes to toothpaste options? I feel like there are SO many varieties even in each brand that it’s hard to know which one is best for me, or which one I would like best. As a result, I have a tendency to stick with the same sort of toothpaste time and time again. I’ve always been a Crest user but I was recently offered the chance to review the Crest ProHealth Toothpaste & Mouthwash – I hadn’t tried either before. I had really considered the toothpaste before but it was a tad more expensive than the other variety I usually, so the frugalista in me won out. Now that I’ve tried Crest ProHealth, I won’t be going back to my other variety. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at just how much I like this toothpaste.
The tube is a bit shorter than some other varieties but it has a great, flat cap that lets it stand upright. No more squeezing and twisting the tube once it’s half empty, gravity does the trick instead. The toothpaste itself has a great consistency, never having that wet look or feel, without being overly gritty. I absolutely love how it tastes! It’s not very mature of me, but I admit the flavor (called invigorating clean mint) is probably my favorite aspect. It tastes like some of my favorite types of minty gum. It leaves my teeth feeling really clean without that “coated” feeling that some other toothpaste brands or varieties use.
I was hopeful that the mouthwash (Crest ProHealth Tartar Protection Rinse) would have the same flavor, but it’s slightly different. I really like it as well because it’s really powerful feeling. My mouth feels super fresh (almost a burning sensation, sometimes) that leaves my mouth feeling extremely clean. I have no doubt in my mind that using these two products together leaves my mouth super clean. I love this combo and plan to stick with these varieties for quite a while.
Have you tried Crest ProHealth? What did you think?
