Last Christmas we added our first tablet to the family. It was a kids’ tablet from iDeaPLAY from iDeaUSA. Prior to receiving it, I thought the girls would like it but I had no idea how much. Since we received it, we have come to rely on it for quick educational entertainment. I usually keep it in my purse or car so that it’s handy if I find us in a situation where I need the girls to be patient a bit longer than normal. It has saved us several times!
As we started to prepare for an upcoming family road trip, I knew a second kids’ tablet from iDeaPLAY was going to be a necessity! I reached out to iDeaPLAY and they completely agreed with me. For my review (and sanity) they sent me an additional kids’ tablet.
There are so many great features about the iDeaPLAY tablet that I am not sure where to start. Let’s start with the tech stuff: the iDeaPLAY tablet is an Android device. It has 1 GB DDR3 Ram, 4GB Internal Storage, 7” display and WI-FI. It also has a camera. The battery charge life is about 4 hours. You can easily access USB, HDMI and MICROSD ports.
Each tablet comes with a silicone orange textured protective cover to help give little hands a more secure grip and it provides some protection to the tablet. Ear buds, a micro USB cable and a power plug are also included.
The iDeaPLAY tablet is COPPA compliant. This means it stands up to the US Governments Children’s Online Privacy and Protection Act. This is my all-time favorite feature of the iDeaPLAY kids’ tablet. I have no worries of my daughters accidentally stumbling upon inappropriate pages, making purchases or accidentally sharing private data while they use the tablets. IDeaPLAY did an excellent job making sure that this was a private and safe device for kids to use.
The iDeaPLAY tablet comes with Famigo age appropriate educational game apps. Additional apps are available on the iDea Apps Marketplace. My daughters just love the Yumsters, Riptide, Math Bugaboo and Bowling games. (I love bowling too!)
So, as we set out on our family road trip, I am comforted in knowing that I have entertaining and educational tablets packed to help the girls pass the time.
Before I let you go, I think it’s important to also mention that iDeaPLAY is one of those great companies that stands behind their products and wants the best for their customers. I had an issue with my tablet and they immediately went above and beyond to make things right. I sure do appreciate service like that!
