I received product from the Choose Friendship company. All opinions are my own.
I don’t know about you, but our summer vacation has been crazy busy! I actually had to start scheduling days for my daughters and me to just stay home and get caught up. Last week on our catch-up day, we were relaxing by the swimming pool and it quickly became too hot to hang out in the sun. I remembered I had a fun activity for us inside. I surprised the girls with a craft kit from the Choose Friendship Company.
The Choose Friendship company has won awards for their craft project kits. Each kit provides the necessary items to create the craft. These can be done independently or along with a friend. Choose Friendship currently offers–My Image Bracelet Maker, My Image Button Maker, My Lanyard Maker, My Friendship Bracelet Maker, My Friendship Bracelet Maker Clipboard, My Ribbon Barrette Maker, My FBM Traveler and My Circle Of Creativity. Each kit means hours of fun!
For our review, we received a My Image Bracelet Maker. I chose this kit because I thought my 5 and 7 year old daughters would enjoy creating jewelry with each other. I was right.
I set out the kit and explained how it worked. The kit comes with colored ‘tiles’ for you to build your bracelet. Once you have your tiles arranged, it is time to select your image (24 are contained in the kit or you can use your own photos) and use the handy cutter to punch them out. Then adhere the image to the tiles with the included glue stick. Once your tiles are embellished, string the bracelet with the provided elastic cord and tie a secure knot. Take the yellow key and twist to conceal the knot within the tile. The process is easy. After I explained it, the girls were able and excited to complete the process on their own.
The girls had a lot of fun with the My Image Bracelet Maker. This is a great activity for tweens. They can wear their creations or share them with friends.
The My Image Bracelet Maker would be a great tween gift idea.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

This actually looks like a great Christmas or birthday present. I saw several types of these for around $10 at Staples and almost got one with my gift card. This one looks very cool and lots of variety to please everyone.

I love that these kits come with everything you need because it can get really expensive gathering up all the supplies. I remember making lanyards, I can’t wait to start crafts like these with my daughter.
