I received products from Say Please Lunchbox Love for my review. All opinions are my own.
Back to school time is upon us. My daughters go back on September 2nd and 8th. This year, I will have a 2nd grader and a kindergartner. This will be the first time both girls are in school Monday through Friday. It is also our first experience with all-day Kindergarten; this is a new program in our school district. I know many schools offer all-day kindergarten but I am not sure we/I am ready for it. It seems like a big jump to go from part time preschool to all day kindergarten. I am sure my daughter will do well. I am not sure how I will do! It will definitely be an adjustment for us all.
Over the last few years, I have shared my love for Lunchbox Love notes with all of you. In case you missed my other reviews, let me fill you in. Say Please offers adorable Lunchbox Love note cards for you to place in special places for your loved ones. On the front of the card is a heartfelt message. Then on the back is a trivia fact, joke or riddle. There are also blank cards for you to write your own message. Each set has 12 cards inside. Say Please carries cards for kids, teens, spouses, co-workers, teachers, seasons/holidays and more.
To help us get the school years started right, Say Please sent me three new sets of cards: Lunchbox Love for Kids Volumes 79 and 80 along with Lunchbox Love for Kids Riddles Volume 2.
The thing I really like about Lunchbox Love is that with a simple little card, I can remind my daughters just how much I love them, how special they are, that I am proud of them and/or cannot wait until school is out for the day. It’s kind of my way of being with them even though we are physically apart.
One day last year, a cafeteria monitor asked me about the cards. She told me that my daughter reads them out loud to everyone at the table. The kids really enjoy hearing what the joke of the day is. That makes me feel good. Not only did I make my daughter smile but also some of the other kids at the table.
I hope you and yours have a wonderful school year!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
