I received products from The Frozen Bean for my review. All opinions are my own.
This has been a hot and unusually muggy summer for us here in Oregon. We have consistently had 90 degree days over the past several weeks. The humidity reminds me of my visits to the East Coast. Some days it feels nice and other days, it’s just too much. On those days, we end up hiding inside with the air conditioner. Inside or outside, we love having a cool drink in our hands.
I recently discovered a company called The Frozen Bean. The Frozen Bean offers specialty drink mixes. They have seven product lines with over 100 delicious flavors. Currently they have Ice Blended Coffees, Chai Teas, Crème Blends, Frullati, Carnival Blends, Ice Teas, Base Mixes and Sip & Dip.
For our review, we received a Strawberry Yogurt Frullati and a Southern Sweet Tea.
Strawberry Yogurt Frullati is a smoothie mix. It contains live cultures. I have served this blended to my two young daughters and they enjoyed it. It can also be served iced or in a granita. I have also made ours into yogurt pops. I added a bit of fresh fruit into our freezer pop molds and then poured the Strawberry Yogurt Frullati over it. They came out beautifully and tasted great!
Southern Sweet Tea is just the way I remembered it from my visit to Florida about 12 years ago. It leaves me longing to sit on a porch in a rocking chair visiting with friends and family.
Southern Sweet Tea is made with Evaporated Can Juice Sweetener, Corn Syrup Solids, Sugar and Black Tea. It can be blended, iced or even made into a granita. I normally enjoy mine on ice; however, I think I am going to get up right now and try blending it!

One lucky winner is going to receive 20 individual packets of drink mixes from The Frozen Bean. This is a US giveaway and it will end on 8/19/2014. Good luck!
Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.

I would try the coffee and yogurt mixes. I’m surprised they use corn syrup solids in the tea mix since it’s not the best nutritionally. I understand this isn’t supposed to be health food though.
