Halloween is creeping closer and it’s time to get our costumes figured out.  Thankfully, BuyCostumes.com has an amazing selection of quality costumes to satisfy the whole family from infants through adults and even a line for the furry family members!

Our oldest son turned 7 this Summer and he decided he wanted to be an astronaut for Halloween this year.  We’ve been learning about space, shuttles, astronauts, and visiting the moon with our schooling and he’s been fascinated with this topic.  When I saw that BuyCostumes.com offered a NASA Junior Astronaut Suit, I knew we found the perfect costume.  While our son typically wears size 7 clothing, I choose the 8-10 size for this costume since I feel like costumes can be forgiving.  The suit fits him perfectly.  I even feel that the slight bagginess offers a more realistic look to the costume.

Our daughter is 9 1/2 and loves dresses that swirl and twirl.  So we combed through the options and had a hard time deciding because BuyCostumes.com has lots of great choices.  From the Disney Princesses and a Snow Queen Elsa inspired costume, to the Princess Red Riding Hood that she chose, we spent over an hour scouring BuyCostumes.com before finally settling on a selection.  This dress is everything she wanted.  She can dance and spin and the built in hoop offers her the flow she loves.  While the cape was slightly wrinkled from shipping, this gives a more defined look and we like the character it adds.  We’ve had a visit from Princess Red Riding Hood daily since the arrival of this costume and she can’t wait for Halloween this year.  Since our daughter is 9 1/2 we sized up to a 10 but probably should have gotten the 8 since she’s short.  We’ve solved the problem by adding a belt to keep the dress from dragging.

We just recently added our new baby to our family and back when we first told our children we were expecting, our 4 year old son (he was 3 then) decided he had a baby dinosaur in his tummy.  It was the cutest thing and he was adamant for months that he had a baby in his tummy too but his was of the dinosaur variety.  I’m not entirely sure where this came from but a fascination and love of dinosaurs has erupted in our son since then.  So he decided he was going to be a dinosaur this Halloween.  After heading over to BuyCostumes.com, he choose the T-Rex Costume immediately.  Once it arrived, I am so glad we chose it.  The details on the costume are unique and fun.  The extra dazzle on the tail give the T-Rex a perfect finishing touch and our son absolutely loves this costume.  He talks about his dinosaur costume all the time and I know we will be seeing it often throughout the next year.  While he wears size 4 clothing, this costume is a size 6 and fits perfectly with little room to spare so I suggest sizing up when purchasing.
