This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of GB Child USA for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
I was just a little kid when I realized that all strollers are NOT made equally. I loved helping to push my nieces and nephews when we would go places with a stroller. Some were easy for me to push even a heavy toddler in, while others were difficult to maneuver with a newborn in them.
Even among strollers that push well, there are so many other factors to consider. Do they have enough space for baby & the gear you want to bring along? Does it fold down flat enough to easily fit inside of a trunk? Does it have a high enough weight limit that it will be usable until your child is ready to say goodbye to strollers for good? Does it work with your infant car seat?
GB Baby Gear brand strollers look to meet these features. Their strollers sell for about $200-$220 each but they look like high end strollers. Their features are impressive, too. My favorite is the GB Ellum Stroller in “raspberry” which is black with a deep purple. I love this color combination. I couldn’t help but think of GB’s slogan That’s Me! when I saw it. It brags about it’s maneuverability, foot-activated fold, compact fold, full canopy, reclined seating, easy-access storage basket, 360 degree wheel swivel, and one step break. Plus, it works with select Graco Snugride and Chicco Keyfit infant car seats. With a 50lb weight limit, it will work for most kids up until they are in preschool. It’s sold exclusively at Babies R Us for $219 and can ship to our house for free.
The other stroller from GB Baby Gear that caught my eye was the Zuzu stroller. It looks similar to an umbrella stroller but more heavy-duty. It has a finger-activated fold which folds it down more compact than an umbrella stroller! When folded, it can self-stand. It has reclined seating, an over-sized canopy, 360 degree swivel wheels, a one-touch break and is compatible with select Graco and Chicco carseats. It can handle up to 50lbs so again it will last a lot of kids up to (and for some even beyond) preschool.
Each of these GB Baby Gear strollers have good review ratings on Babies R Us, so I think they live up to their slogan “Feel confident with every step”. I think they’d make a great buy for a baby shower.
Have you owned a GB Baby Gear stroller? How did it work for your family?
