When it comes to desserts, I believe in moderation. If we have treats that are prepackaged in portion controlled servings, that’s ideal for us because, then we are even less likely to over-indulge. I know this to be true for myself but also for my family members. So when my family is in the mood for something sweet, I look for individually packaged goodies.
We recently had the opportunity to try two new flavors of Weight Watchers Ice Cream– Dark Chocolate Dulce de Leche bars and Divine Triple Chocolate bars. Both flavors are a silky smooth ice cream bar that is then dipped half way up in a decadent milk chocolate shell.
Both ice cream bars come in boxes of 6 single serving treats. The Divine Triple Chocolate bars are 110 calories and each have 4.5g of fat and contain 0g of trans -fats. They are valued at 3 Weight Watchers points. The Dark Chocolate Dulce de Leche bar is 120 calories and they also have 4.5 g fat and 0g trans-fat. These are also 3 Weight Watchers points.
My daughters and husband were thrilled to help with this review. They chose to try the Divine Triple Chocolate bar the first night and the Dark Chocolate Dulce de Leche bar the next night. I think my husband preferred the Divine Triple Chocolate bar, while my daughters favored the Dark Chocolate Dulce de Leche bar.
Perhaps my favorite part of the Weight Watchers Ice Cream bars are that that they don’t included artificial sweeteners. While my family isn’t on a “diet”, I think it is important to watch what we eat.
