I received products from ADK Packworks for my review. All opinions are my own.
About two years ago, the city I grocery shop in, passed a plastic bag ban. I think this is a great way to reduce the amount of garbage going into our landfills. With that said, I never seem to have enough reusable bags to load all of our groceries into. Because of this, I end up purchasing a paper bag from the store.
I shared m y issue with a friend and she suggested ADK Packworks. ADK Packworks offers a line of reusable bags that were not only constructed to last a long time but also to fit your active lifestyle. The bags have been designed to be easy to use while strolling the streets of a farmers market, loading into your vehicle or carrying on your body. Different accessories can also be purchased to further customize your bags.
For my review, I received a Blue Canvas Packbasket with insulated cooler liner and a Floral Market Basket.
The first thing I noticed about these bags is the semi-rigid frame structure. It is light weight yet provides a strong brace for the bag. The bags can actually stand upright on their own. Next I noticed how durable the handles appear to be. They are made with quality goods and craftsmanship. Finally I took note of how flat the bags fold for storage. These are all features I appreciate.
To operate your bag, gently pull the hinges open and press on the base. There is a helpful instruction guide on the ADK Packworks website that shows you how to change the carrying straps from a back strap, to a two-handed strap.
If you like to wash your reusable bags (and trust me, you really need to!) the covers are easy to remove and launder.
I have been using my bags for about 4 weeks now. I am impressed with the quality of these bags so far. I just need about 6-8 more of them to replace my other bags. (We buy a lot of groceries.)

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
