Oregon cannot decide what season it is. Even though we are well into October, we are still having summer weather for the most part. The last few weeks we have had temperatures in the low 80s. My air conditioner is still running at night. However, when I look at the extended October forecast we are predicted to have a few days of rain, then nice weather, then rain for a couple days and the pattern continues. Normally we are in full fall weather by now with all days being cold, windy and rainy. I am so confused! I don’t know if I should put away my summer apparel and bring out the fall layers or wait. Oh the issues we fashion bloggers have! Lol.
One fall fashion item I am looking forward to wearing is my new gray Cable-Knit sweater from JVL clothing line at YesStyle. The sweater is a soft and beautiful cable knit weave. The waist line of this sweater almost has a peplum design. It is a slight flirty flair. In the website photos, this top appears to be a thick sweater but, in reality, it is a medium to light weight sweater making it perfect for layering.
In my photos, I chose to layer my gray Cable-Knit sweater with a cream lace undershirt for a sort of French vintage feel. I paired it with my favorite distressed skinny jeans and brown knee-high boots. Next time, I think I will add a brown weave belt to slim and accentuate my waist more. This was a great outfit for me to wear while networking with my friends at a local coffee house.
