This time of year I see so many creative, cute treats for Halloween on Pinterest and blogs. Most of the time if I go to a halloween party, it’s for both parents and adults. Yet it seems like so many halloween recipes are candy-based and intended for kids. So I thought I would share this Halloween milkshake that is both child and adult friendly.
You’ll need:
TruMoo orange scream milk.
Vanilla ice cream
Candy “Eyes” – I found these at the dollar store for $2 a bag.
A festive cup. I got my mug for $1 at the dollar store, they had regular plastic cups in halloween designs for 4 for $1 which would be great for parties.
A blender
The orange scream TruMoo is in stores special for the Halloween season. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure what to think about orange milk but its “orange scream” (orange dream) flavored like those orange ice cream bars that everyone loves. It smells and tastes great! My recipe is for a mug sized drink (about 10 oz)
Preparation time: 2-3 minutes. Cook time: 1-2 minutes.
Combine 1/2 cup of Trumoo Orange Scream with 2 cups of ice cream in your blender.
Blend until smooth.
Pour into your mug.
Unwrap 1-2 candy eyes and place on top of mug.

I really like the Tru Moo brands. I tried the oorange lavor too, and like you wasnt sure I would like it. It really does taste a whole lot like a creamsicle.
I like how you put the spooky eyeball on this ! Very cute, and spooky!

I’ve never even heard of this flavor milk so far and it would be cool if they offer it year round, I’ll have to check around halloween time again though.
