I’ve always been amazed at how men rely on just a wallet to bring along everything they need. I can’t even manage with a small purse – I always keep a medium to large-sized purse. As a result, I understand why men tend to rely on their wallets so much – because it’s all they take along with them. Yet, I recently realized how thick Ryan’s wallet had become and how worn it was looking. He usually carries it in his back pant pocket and it seemed to me that it must be uncomfortable for him to sit with such a thick wallet on one side.
I decided to go looking for a new wallet that was slim but would be thick enough to hold everything he needed. I’ve bought enough cheap wallets in the past to know that they don’t last long so I wanted one that was durably made as well. I came across Bellroy and decided the Slim Sleeve wallet would be perfect.
Bellroy wallets focus on making all of their wallets slim. They are made of a thin leather that is dyed so that it can age more gracefully than traditionally painted leathers. They want their products to last as long as possible so that they are used longer, making them better for the earth than wallets that are discarded after a shorter time period. They also try to avoid serious toxins and to reduce energy and waste while manufacturing their wallets – again with the earth in mind.
Compared to his old wallet, the Slim Sleeve Wallet is about half as thick as Ryan’s previous wallet. Yet, it has room for plenty of cards and can hold bills without them being folded. The whole wallet has a sleek and classy appearance and Ryan’s found it to meet his needs perfectly. It would make a beautiful gift idea for any man in need of a new, high quality thin wallet.
