I received products from Candlewick Press for my review. All opinions are my own.
We are a family of book lovers. One of our favorite publishers is Candlewick Press. Candlewick Press offers a plethora of children’s story books, eBooks and gift box sets. They cover many subjects, themes and holidays. They even have books that can help children work through different issues, such as a new baby in the family, moving, making friends, new school, etc. Candlewick Press offers books for all skill levels including toddlers on up to established readers. Candlewick Press books are a fun and education gift.
For our review we received a collection of books. For Savannah, my almost 8 year old, I chose Frank Pearl In The Awful Waffle Kerfuffle by Megan McDonald, Clarice Bean Don’t Look Now by Lauren Child, and Ant and Honey Bee a pair of Friends At Halloween by Megan McDonald. For Cheyenne, my 5.5 year old, I chose A Bedtime for Bear by Bonny Becker, Up & Down by Britta Teckentrup and The Monster in the Backpack by Lisa Moser. We also received And Then Comes Christmas by Tom Brenner.
Megan McDonald and Lauren Child are two of our all-time favorite authors. If you haven’t read any of their books, I strongly suggest them. Both women tell fun stores with subtle lessons weaved in. Their stores really hold the attention of the girls and keep them wanting to read more.
Not only do I love the selection of books that Candlewick Press offers, but I also appreciate their website. It is easy for me to search for books using different helpful filters. I often search for our favorite authors and book series. I also search for seasonal titles and book format. The Candlewick Press website is very user friendly and gives me great insight on the stories.

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
