About a year ago, I got my husband a multi-purpose tool called Trucker’s Friend. Over the last year, my step-father has admired this tool, saying he had never seen anything like it. When it came time for me to think about a Christmas gifts for my step-father, I knew instantly that I should get him his very own Trucker’s Friend.

Trucker’s Friend comes from a company called Innovation Factory. Innovation Factory creates serious tools for serious jobs. They design tools that serve multiple purposes are ergonomically correct for your comfort and ease of use. These tools help you get the job done quickly and efficiently.

Trucker’s Friend can hack, pry, pull, and pound. It has a curved axe end, hammer, nail puller, spanner, pry bar, lever, tire chain hook, wire twist, and an ice and debris remover. Trucker’s Friend is made with cast alloy, it has a steel blade and shank, a rust resistant matte finish, fiberglass handle and a shock absorbing power grip. Trucker’s Friend is approximately 19.25 inches in length, 2 inches in width and 5.50 inches in height. It weighs 2.6 pounds.

We have found that a Trucker’s Friend comes in handy throughout the year. We have used it in the winter during Oregon storms with down trees, in the spring with yard work projects, the summer when we go camping and fall when my husband goes on his long hunting trip. Their really aren’t too many projects that Trucker’s Friend can’t help with.

I am really excited for my step-father to receive his Trucker’s Friend. I know he is going to really like it.
