Chanteur Designs is a site that sells high quality children’s jewelry. They have bracelets, earrings, and necklaces for little girls in sterling silver and gold. When I was a little girl, I had an eye for jewelry. Unlike most little girls, I wasn’t particularly interested in fashion or dressing up. I wanted jewelry like I saw my mom, grandma nad aunts wear – a single set of jewelry that could be worn consistently. Early on my mom bought me some cheap little girls jewelry and I would get a rash anywhere the jewelry was on my skin. Still to this day I have never learned what aspect of cheap jewelry I am allergic to, but since then I have just chose to stick with sterling silver or gold jewelry.
For little girls with allergies, businesses like Chanteur Designs are perfect because their jewelry is made with 925 sterling and gold items are 14K gold-plated with sterling silver centers. Chanteur Designs jewelry is also great for girls who like to wear the same jewelry day after day without having it discolor their skin or break down. I love how they have jewelry in a variety of colors including blues and greens. My favorite color as a child was green and it’s quite rare to see green or blue jewelry for young children.
My niece Kelsie is 1.5 and she has pierced ears. She isn’t sensitive to metals but she’s young enough that many earrings designed for kids in general is still too large for her. I wanted to find her a pair of earrings for Christmas that would be the appropriate size for her and also of high quality so she can wear them for a long time without having to switch them out. Chanteur Designs has earrings in two different sizes. When you look at a listing for any pair of earrings on their site it will explain that the earrings are either for approximately age 12 and younger, or for approximately ages 6 and younger. Of course, these ages are just approximations and can vary slightly depending on the size of your child but I was excited to find a line specifically aimed at very young children. The Petite Pink Heart earrings that I chose for Kelsie are the perfect size for her little toddler ears. They have locking backs so they will stay in place and won’t get lost.

This type of jewelry would be great for a coming of age gift, where you want to get a keepsake. Good that they have safety backings so they won’t get lost.
