I received product from National Geographic. All opinions are my own.

National Geographic is a nonprofit organization with a “passionate belief in the power of science, exploration and storytelling…”  With amazing pictures, graphic maps and captivating stories they have helped educated all of us over the years.

National Geographic has a line of kids’ products. Through books, atlases, DVDs, clothing, toys and games, National Geographic is able to present the material in a way kids will understand and relate to….they will even enjoy learning.

While visiting my in-laws house, my daughters found a kids National Geographic book in their home library. The girls spent the entire visit reading this book, sharing the trivia and enjoying the photos. I was awe-struck that they were entertained for so long with a National Geographic book. Prior to this, I really hadn’t thought much about getting the girls National Geographic books. I had quickly assumed they wouldn’t hold their interests. Boy was I wrong!

I reached out to National Geographic to see if they would be interested in a review; luckily, they were. For my review, National Geographic sent me four kids’ books- National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Why, National Geographic Kids Beginner’s World Atlas, 3rd Edition, Ultimate Weird But True, and National Geographic Kids Student World Atlas, 4th Edition.

As soon as these books arrived, I began looking through them. They are amazing! I really appreciate that National Geographic has taken the time to present the content in a way that builds the readers interests.

I gave Savannah (almost 8 years old) the Ultimate Weird But True, and National Geographic Kids Student World Atlas, 4th Edition. I gave Cheyenne (5.5 years old) the National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Why and National Geographic Kids Beginner’s World Atlas, 3rd Edition. The girls have really enjoyed looking at their new books. They are just as captivated by these books as they were the book at my in-laws. I suspect these books will become great tools and reference books as they get older.

I love National Geographic’s line of merchandise for kids. We will for sure be adding more of their merchandise to our new collection.

I didn’t know they had such an extensive line of merchandise for kids. I’ve only seen a few book reviews about their books but loved their shows as a kid. These books looks fun as well as educational.
