Ryan has an aunt who absolutely loves watching for new fashion and beauty items to purchase from QVC on TV. While she’s getting up there in years, she still loves putting a lot of effort into pulling together the perfect outfit and look. Her love of QVC is what introduced me to the brand and although we don’t have TV service at home, I like browsing the QVC website when purchasing for Ryan’s aunt or any of our other fashion and/or beauty loving family members or friends. They have items for the home including electronics, decor and toys but I love finding gifts for women from QVC. This year I chose two items from QVC that I’ll be giving as gifts.
The first is the Nichole Richie Floral Printed Scarf. My 20-something niece loves accessorizing by adding in a scarf but she’s selective about the coloring and designs that she likes. She prefers scarves that are not a plain color but that also aren’t too bold. I thought the feminine floral print on this scarf would be the right mix of pattern without being too attention grabbing for her tastes. It’s available in black and mulberry which is a deep purple. Both look great and sell for $29.75.
For my sister-in-law who loves candles, I went with the Notes set of 3 9oz holiday candle set which sells for $35.50. The set is perfectly festive featuring a red candle, green candle. The green candle is frosted pine scent, the red candle is vanilla peppermint scent and the white candle is winter spice scent. I like peppermint but often find just-peppermint candles or sprays too powerful so I love the vanilla peppermint candle so much that I almost want to keep it for myself! All 3 candles come in glass containers that are decorated with snowflake designs. The candles have lead-free wicks and have approximately 50 hours of burn time each. I would feel confident giving these to any of the women who are friends or family members of mine. As a result, I think this would be a great set to pick up and set-aside in case an unexpected guest comes to a party and you’re caught needing a gift for someone at the last minute.
