Growing up, my brother had a little boom box toy with a microphone on the side and cassette player in the front.  That was about 25 years ago but I still remember how he would carry that thing everywhere!  It was definitely his favorite toy for years.  He would sing into that mic all day long and encouraged others to take part in his shows too.  I had thought those style toys were long gone but recently discovered they are not!

I received the Doc McStuffins Rockin’ Doc Sing Along Boom Box which is so much like the toy I recall from our childhood.  We just so happened to see this boom box at Target and it caught the kid’s eyes.  Then when we got home, our package was sitting here ready to open.

Geared for ages 3 and up, our 2 1/2 year old has no trouble playing with the Doc McStuffins Rockin’ Doc Boom Box and all the way up to our oldest, at age 9, loves it too.  This boom box encompasses sing along fun with an option to also connect an MP3 player and sing to your own choice of tunes.  Our kids really like the button that plays the built in Doc McStuffins theme song.

Included with the Doc McStuffins Rockin’ Doc Sing Along Boom Box are two check-up instruments, a reflex hammer and syringe.  The kids have been spending the last few days carrying this boom box all over.  It seems like at least one or more of the kids are playing with it at all times.  Sometimes they even turn on the radio and use the Doc McStuffins Boom Box microphone to sing along.  Other times they just talk through the microphone.  The older kids also discovered it’s fun reading books out loud to their siblings through the microphone.  Overall, they just can’t get enough of this toy!
