It’s no secret or surprise that babies grow fast. Our little one is 3 1/2 months old now and is becoming more aware of her surroundings each day. She loves watching her older siblings antics as well as she is even starting to notice toys around her. She’s not quite at the point where she’s picking them up but she does like to look. As soon as I opened the Discover The World Activity Play Mat, I was excited. I know I could just use a plain blanket for tummy time but I think this mat is more fun. The colors and animals are eye-catching. Geared for ages newborn and up, there are different uses for each stage. Newborns to about two months old can lay on this mat. Two months through about six months is the perfect time to play “tummy time” on this mat. Point to the different animals and talk to baby, crinkle the elephants ear, or show baby their reflection in the sun for some great floor time fun. Babies ages six months and up can enjoy the mat while sitting, crawling, laying, and exploring the world around them.
This mat is so intriguing that even our older kids just can’t keep themselves off it either. When we pull it out for baby, she always has at least one sibling keeping her company while she plays.

This is adorable! I had a playmat for my daughter, but it was much smaller and she always rolled off of it. I’ll have to remember this one for future baby shower gifts!
