A couple months ago, I started hearing about the Cowgirl Tuff Company. So when we were on our mini family getaway to the Mall of America last month, we made a pit stop at the Cowgirl Tuff store. Immediately upon walking up, the ambiance is pretty awesome. My husband was impressed and the kids made themselves right at home at the little table and didn’t want to leave! So I moseyed around and was pretty much in awe of all the different jeans, shirts, and fun paraphernalia I saw. So when I was offered the chance to review a pair of Cowgirl Tuff jeans, this farm girl jumped.
I was sent a pair of Cowgirl Tuff Company “Don’t Fence Me In” Jeans in medium wash. This is their replenish able style that is always available and is offered in both dark and medium wash. When I opened my package, I was just as impressed as I was in the store. For the past ten years, I’ve worn the same brand of jeans. While they looked nice at first, they felt thin and would need to be replaced often. This will definitely not be the case with my Cowgirl Tuff Jeans. They are definitely well made and have a “sturdier” feel than my old jeans.
The true test with clothing comes with wear. To really get the feel of these jeans, I wore them almost daily for two weeks. I knew to recommend a pair of jeans, they would have to be comfortable as well as hold up to my daily life as a farm girl and busy mom to five. I’m happy to say that the fit of my Cowgirl Tuff Jeans makes me forget I’m even wearing jeans. I have been so comfortable whether running errands with the kids, rolling around the floor, or giving “horsey” rides around the house on my hands and knees.
While I did receive the “short” size in my “Don’t Fence Me In” jeans, my 5’1″ body is still a little too short. My jeans do drag a little on the ground so I just roll the back up a little to protect them. However, when I was at the Mall of America store, the worker said that Cowgirl Tuff may be coming out with a slightly shorter jean too! So I’m crossing my fingers for those, especially since we are planning on getting a horse for the kids this Summer and I will definitely be pulling my Cowgirl Tuff Jeans on to work around the farm and hopefully ride the horse.
