Jane.com boutique clothing deals

*I was provided with clothing from Jane.com for review. All opinions are my own.

I remember being in early elementary school and watching other little girls get excited to having matching clothing with their friends. Even from that young age, I didn’t want to match my friends because I wanted to have clothes that were unique to me. I don’t really know why I’ve always had this preference, but it’s still true today. I love shopping at boutiques instead of large retailers because it increase the odds that I won’t know others who have the same clothing as me.

In my opinion, there are two main downsides to shopping at boutiques or small retailers. The first is just finding the sites. I am picky about my clothing so it’s common for me to look around at a store or around a boutique website and only find one or two items that I want to buy. So, to find a full outfit I often need to find several different boutiques or retailers. The second is the price. I am friends with small business owners and understand how hard it is for small business owners to compete with the prices at larger retailers. Yet, it’s hard for me to justify spending twice as much for a shirt at a boutique as I would somewhere else.

Jane.com Review

Jane.com solves both problems for me. They are a site that features daily deals for tons of boutiques so by visiting their one site you can find offers from several small businesses making it easier for finicky shoppers like me to find multiple items from a single site. Plus, all the items they feature are on sale and everything that I saw was well within my budget. To me, there’s nothing better than finding unique boutique clothing that I love at prices that are at (or lower than!) what I would pay in person.

I found several clothing items that I enjoyed but I eventually settled on two tops. Most deals on Jane.com only last for a short time so neither of the items that I ordered are currently available. However, it’s fairly common for boutiques to be featured on Jane.com multiple times so if you miss out on a deal keep watching the Jane.com website and the deal may come back around eventually.

I got a lace hoodie and a tunic hoodie. The lace hoodie has lace for the sleeves and hoodie pocket while the rest of the hoodie is a regular sweater material. The arms are just lace, no material underneath so it’s been too cold to wear here in Michigan because it feels like you’re wearing a sleeveless shirt when the wind blows but I think it’ll be great for spring or early fall. I’ve gotten several compliments on how unique it is. I always worry that lace will fall apart in the washing machine but it’s held up great so far and feels really well made. It was $22.99 and well worth the price in my opinion.

*The piece of fabric in the center of m neck should have been tucked inside the neckline – sorry! I didn’t realize it was inside out until after dark when I was editing the pictures.

The tunic hoodie that I was sent was $16.99 and the design a pretty simple idea – it’s just a hoodie in tunic length so it can be worn with leggings. I’m 5’0″ and the hoodie hits me about mid-thigh when fully stretched out but it ends to ride up a few inches when I walk around. I’ve worn it with skinny jeans and leggings and enjoy it both ways. The inside of the hoodie is really soft even after being machine washed a few times.

I’m really happy with both items from Jane.com and I have found myself checking the website regularly since getting these items. In addition to women’s clothing they also have household items, children’s clothing, accessories and more. It’s a fun way to support small businesses on a budget.

I love hoodies and never have worn or seen a lace one–very pretty! I haven’t seen Jane.com clothing, except to enter a giveaway once. They’re worth a second look I think.
