I received products from Jennie-O for my review. All opinions are my own. I am a part of the Jennie-0 Switch Circle.
For my review, I received Jennie-O Turkey Breakfast Sausage, Lean Ground Turkey, and Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Breast. My family loves using Jennie-O Turkey Breakfast Sausage when we make omelets on weekend mornings. The herbs and seasonings in the sausage have a real nice flavor. We often use Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey in our tacos and chili. It takes on the flavors in those two dishes and has a great texture.
One new product to us though is the Jennie-O Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Breast. A day or two after I received the Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Breast, I found myself in a dinner panic. My daughters and I got home late from a day of running errands. We had about 15 minutes until our typically dinner time, then we needed to hustle to homework, showers and bed. I needed a quick and fairly healthy dinner. I had no idea what to make. I hadn’t taken anything out of the freezer so I had to get creative. I grabbed the Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Breast, diced it up along with some onions and roasted red bell peppers. I made a pot of whole grain penne pasta and then added my Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Breast and diced veggies. I let the combination simmer for a few minutes and then we devoured it! The Sun Dried Tomato Turkey Breast had a wonderful Italian flavor. The turkey was juicy and tender. My kids and husband were speechless. My husband probably thinks I put a lot of time and thought into this dish. Ha!

Hello, my name is Laurie. My family and I live near the Oregon coast. When we aren’t at work, in school, or on the volleyball court, we enjoy traveling, cheering for our favorite sports teams, playing outdoors, and checking off items on our bucket list. We are lucky in that both sets of our parents, as well as our siblings and their families, live within an hour of us. We get together often to help one another out, celebrate milestones, and go on adventures together.
