They have a mission to provide a variety of high quality science related products that will help spark interest and fascinate. My kids love hands on learning so we were all excited about this review.
The Young Scientists Club sent us their Clifford The Big Red Dog Water Science Kit to review. Since we recently did a study about the Titanic, we went straight to the Iceberg page. When we did our Titanic study, we checked out a couple documentaries from the library as well as purchased a couple of books that contained many interesting facts. First, we discussed what we knew about Icebergs and the Titanic tragedy. Then, we shared our hypothesis’ about what we thought would happen to our “iceberg”. Finally, we filled our lab tray bowl with water and gently set our ice cube “iceberg” in. We studied what happened and discussed the things we noticed. The kids loved every second about this hands-on experiment and this Iceberg visual was a great way to end our Titanic unit.
Geared for ages 3 and up, the Clifford The Big Red Dog Water Science Kit is packed with more experiments and hands on fun!
