I received products from Winning Moves for my review. All opinions and photos are my own.

Family game night! Once a month we try to have a family game night. We play games often but one night a month, we make it special. We set aside a few hours, have special snacks and play as many games as we can. It is a great time and something we all look forward to!

One of our favorite places to find new games is a company called Winning Moves. For our family game night, Winning Moves sent us Connect4 Twist & Turn, Hi-Ho Cherry-O, Twister, and the new Fish Fish Squish!

Connect4 Twist and Turn is a spin on the classic game. Just like the traditional game, players must get four of their colored pieces in a row to win. With Connect4 Twist & Turn, there is an extra challenge though, each of the five layers of the tower turns.  Players drop their piece, twist the layer and when four are in a row, you win! “Drop, Twist and Win!” Connect4 Twist and Turn is for two players, ages six and up.

Hi-Ho Cherry-O made its debut 50 years ago. This classic game helps players with a variety of math skills. Players can work on counting, addition, and subtraction while playing. Each player takes a turn spinning the wheel. Depending on where the wheel lands, players must remove that many cherries and place them into their bucket. The first one with a full bucket wins! Hi-Ho Cherry-O is geared towards children ages 3 years old and older. Two to four players can play in each round.

Twister has been tangling players up in knots since the 1960’s. Two or more players, ages 6 years and older, take turns moving their hands and feet to the appropriate colored circles. Before you know it, you will be completed twisted up with other players! Twister is “the game that ties you up in knots!”

Fish Fish Squish! reminds me of tic-tac-toe. Players use enclosed products to make dough-fish. Then they play to get three different colored fish cards in a row; this earns them the right to squish an opponent’s fish. At the end of the game, the player with the most remaining fish wins!
