Thank you to Auromére for sending product in exchange for review, all opinions are my own!

I have never been so excited to share a review with you guys as I am today! Natural products are one thing I put in high importance, unfortunately a lot of brands claim “all natural” but once you turn the bottle around you find out the truth. Thats why I can’t wait to share with you Auromére!

Auromére is an Ayurvedic company. What is Ayurveda? I’ll give you the details! Ayurveda (“Ayur”=Life and “Veda”=Knowledge) is the ancient indian holistic science of India which aims for a total balance of Mind, Body and spirit with nature’s rhythms and the world surrounding us. Auromére is a company with its roots truly imbedded into this philosophy not only do their products follow the Ayurvedic way of living but 10% of profits on Auromére products are dedicated to the development of the “City of Human Unity” an international, eco-conscious community in Auroville, South India. If you don’t know anything about this truly amazing city I highly suggest taking a look! It’s a place, rather I say, movement, I would truly be honored to be apart of!

I found Auromére in my local health food store, all that was carried was toothpaste, which by the way is the only brand I use! I love its true clean feeling I get from brushing with it. So after falling in love with the toothpaste I had to find out more about their products! After contacting Auromére about a review I was sent a very generous package of multiple products from their whole line!

Auromére Ayurvedic Body care and incense reviewSo the first product I will gush about is my most favorite, the Aloe Vera and Neem Shampoo, which is recommended for dry to normal or thinning hair (Vata-Pitta) and Pre-shampoo conditioner(chemical free conditioning oil)! I have gone through so many bottles and so much money trying to find some truly natural and good for my hair products. The conditioner is something that might be out of your normal routine because it’s purpose is a pre-shampoo conditioner, thats right, before you shampoo! I should mention here you can use the pre-shampoo conditioner as an overnight oil treatment as well as mix it right with the shampoo in your hand for a quick wash! So given all my past experiences and the odd order of application my standards were high but my hopes low. I have never been so truly happy with hair care in my life, following as the package says, I apply the Pre-shampoo conditioner first. Initial thoughts, “This is made of basically all oils.” (albeit oils that are amazing for hair growth and health, think oils like sesame and coconut, see picture below for the full list).

Auromére Ayurvedic Body care and incense review

I thought for sure my hair will be greasy and this shampoo won’t help. I have never been so wrong and so happy to be wrong! The oils applied amazingly. I rubbed it in my scalp all the way through to my ends, it was thick and felt like something my scalp can really absorb, not to mention 100% natural to absorb. Next onto the shampoo, fingers crossed I didn’t get the “way too clean, my hair feels like straw” feeling and also that I didn’t end up with greasy flat roots, because I don’t have time to be taking another shower! The bottle says “concentrated use 50% less” but I’d heard that before and the claim was empty. With Auromére this was NOT the case I used about a quarter size amount for my lower back length hair and experienced such an amazing luxurious lather. My hair rinsed clean, no oily roots so far, no stringy, tangly straw mop! The final test was to feel my hair dry, so I cheated and blow dried it! My hair took longer to dry which was a huge sign my hair was moisturized and drank up some of that amazing hair elixir! The result, amazing soft shiny hair that didn’t feel coated in a slippery silicone, that would soon build up on my hair and scalp! Yes! I did it, I found natural, amazing hair care products!

I was also sent the Auromére Ayurvedic massage oil, Lavender-Neem soap, Himalayan rose soap, Neem toothpicks, and musk and sandal incense. The incense lit was a bit strong for my tastes but I’m very sensitive to smells, I do however love having them just sit next to me unlit as an air freshener! The massage oil directions read that I could use this before a shower to increase the rejuvinative effect on dry, aging and problem skin conditions(which if you read my previous post, I do suffer from). So I did just that! I came out of the shower with my skin feeling soft and moisturized. Both of the soaps smelled amazing, actually the whole package did! The soap was another fear of my skin being too stripped but once again I was wrong, my skin felt clean but not stripped!

Overall I am extremely satisfied with all of the products I received and Auromére products will be a brand I will continue to buy for my home and family, no doubt about it!

I’ve never tried this brand but love they use all natural ingredients. I love incense, and use musk oil so all these products sound great. I don’t use soap since I have more dry skin but the massage oil would be a great product to try. I’ll watch for this brand from now on.

  • Hello Lakota, thank you for the review of this companies products. I have been using auromere brand soap for over a year, the sandal-turmeric soap. I saw this in the health section and picked it since it did not list any chemicals, it was all natural with different oils and extracts. I also felt it had the best aroma. I did not use the shampoo or conditioner because I thought it weird to condition first, also didn’t use the toothpaste because I didn’t think an herbal toothpaste would be effective. However, from your review I think I will try many of their other products. I will also try them because I really love the soap I have been using. One thing to keep in mind with the soap, since it is all natural and it is smallish in size, it does not seem to last ass long. I have found it to lat longer when it has a chance to dry out and have it on something that allows air to get underneath as well.
