I’m so happy the weather has finally started to warm up.  This past Minnesota Winter was extremely cold.  So cold that, unfortunately, we were not even able to venture outdoors much.  So my family is welcoming Spring and Summer with open arms.  However, along with the warm up comes some dreaded things.  BUGS and the Minnesota Mosquitoes!  So that means the dreaded, stinky, sticky bug spray.  However, I found a company that offers a much better way.

US Organic wanted to help out so they sent me their Indoor and Outdoor Anti Bug Spray.  While we’ve had a couple 70 degree days, we haven’t had our major warm up that brings all the bugs out but there have been a few already.  We still decided to test the US Organic Anti Bug Spray out when the kids visited some friends and were going to spend a lot of time in the woods.  As I was preparing the kids in the morning, I slathered them in sunscreen and then sprayed them with the Anti Bug Spray.  After following instructions and shaking well, I spritzed them down.  I really liked that the bottle had a pump spray instead of continuous as it was easier to control the amount of spray as well as where it went.  Immediately, I was super impressed with the pleasant smell of the Anti Bug Spray!  Instead of the nasty stench that usually accompanies bug sprays, US Organic left a light Herbal scent in its wake.  Plus, this formula went on smooth and left behind NO sticky residue.  At the end of the day, the kids had no bug complaints!

The other product we got to try from US Organic is their Lavender – The Body Oil.  Made with all natural and organic ingredients, it is an effective product for moisturizing skin.  The lavender fragrance is pleasing and The Body Oil is great to apply after I shower each morning and can be used in place of lotion.
