Cherribundi tart cherry juice review

Thank you to Cheribundi who provided me with product in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.

Having kids has made me research so much more I ever thought I would. I remember a time when my two year old was having some issues sleeping through the night, and when I researched natural remedies for more sound sleep, tart cherry juice was one of the first things I had seen. Luckily the sleep issues didn’t last long and I never needed to purchase the juice. I didn’t hear anymore about it again until offered this review opportunity. Frankly being a parent I never thought about my own sleep issues, as I had kids, I kissed sound sleep goodbye a long time ago.

Cheribundi specializes in making tart cherry products, everything from regular juices, to teas even smoothie packs! Why focus on just tart cherries as a main ingredient? Let me offer you some insight into the benefits tart cherries offer. Tart cherries have been found to help with pain as it has very strong anti-inflammatory properties. So if you’re an athlete think about drinking some pre and post workout for decreased muscle pains. Not only would someone working out benefit but arthritis sufferers have found relief in consuming tart cherry juice for the very same anti-inflammatory qualities. While were speaking of arthritis lets talk about gout, a specific type of arthritis, tart cherry juice has also been shown to prevent and fight it! Although there are many uses for and benefits of cherry juice the one I was most interested in was sleep.  Did I really think my sleep was all that bad? No, but then again I did know I was an extremely light sleeper and that with my families history of insomnia, sleep is something I’m very delicate with.

When I received the tart cherry juice I decided to do Cheribundi’s 7 Day challenge. The challenge consists of drinking 1 8oz. bottle everyday for 7 days. Each bottle contains 50 tart cherries. I’m thankful this is a drink because if I had to sit and eat fifty cherries a day I don’t know if I could do it, that’s a lot of pits to sort through! So upon drinking the first bottle I was shocked at how similar the taste was to a cherry pie! The tartness is not even as strong as say like a straight cranberry juice. My stomach is also one that can’t handle juices, often times I am left with an upset belly regardless of how natural or pure the juice is. At first I did have that upset feeling but it really didn’t last more than a few minutes once my body started processing things. As for benefits of the juice that I felt throughout the seven days I did find some relief in my finger joints that are often swollen and achy as well as a more sound sleep at night. I felt more tired and less like I still needed to put myself into sleep mode. It wasn’t a knock you out tired, you just felt sleepy when you should where often times I rely on the clock to tell me when I should be in bed by. That was a pretty nice change to not feel as though I really had to manage my sleep. I feel like this juice can be so beneficial to so many with similar issues to me and even more!

I was fortunate enough to try a case of Cheribundi tart cherry juice and I loved it. I usually like weak juice, and water it down since it seems so sweet to me, so this was really strong, but good. It’s so good for you too.
