I’ve thought of Pampers as being the brand of diapers for babies with sensitive skin ever since my baby sister was born when I was 12. She would get terrible rashes when wearing most brands of diapers, and my mom realized after trying Pampers that she didn’t rash in them. From then until she potty trained she was a Pampers baby and never had any further skin issues. As the 12-year-old sister, I was thankful that the baby living in my house wasn’t cranky anymore, but the brand stands out in my mind and when attending baby showers I reach for Pampers first.

Pampers has a brand new line of diapers called Pampers Premium Care that were just put into Walmart stores this week. My niece Kelsie was a “V.I.B” (very important baby) who was able to trial the new diapers before they hit stores. The diapers have a really soft and gentle feel to them, and come with cute animal designs on the front. There is a wetness indicator (yellow line) that runs down the center of the diaper that can let you know at a glance that it’s time for a diaper change. Pampers Premium Care diapers have an Absorb Away Liner that pulls wetness and mess away from baby’s skin to help keep your little ones skin dry. The material is breathable to help air circulate around your baby’s skin. Diaper rash or skin irritation from diapers often results from the baby’s skin being left wet, so the combination of the breathable material and absorb-away liner can help protect your baby from discomfort, plus they are hypoallergenic making them a great diaper to try if your baby has sensitive skin.

Pampers premium care diapers size 4

Kelsie is 2 and weighs around 26 pounds. She wears a size 4 diaper and has chubby thighs but a thin waist, so the tabs of her diapers usually need to overlap which is problematic with some diapers if the tabs don’t like to adhere to the top of the other diaper tab. With Pampers Premium Care diapers, the tabs stay put despite being overlapped to hug Kelsie’s small waist. The tabs can easily be overlapped to get an all-around snug fit while preventing leaks even when Kelsie is on the move which is 24/7 with the exception of the time that she’s sleeping. A great feature of the Premium Care diapers is their Extra Absorb Channels which help to distribute wetness evenly for up to 12 hours of protection which is great for heavy sleepers.

To celebrate the release of Pampers Premium Care, Pampers has launched the #MothersPromise campaign which encourages moms from the first time mom with a newborn to the soccer mom with a full mini-van to write down and remember the promises that they have made to their little ones in the past or that they plan to keep moving forward. All moms want the very best for their kids, including happiness and comfort and Pampers Premium Care diapers are designed to let you keep your baby’s skin at its very best.
