Kidgets budget friendly diapers review

According to a quick google search, the average child uses 8,149 diapers from birth to potty training.  That’s a LOT of diapers, so choosing a budget-friendly diaper for your little one can save a lot of money that you can put towards other expenses such as groceries, toys or a college fund. I was sent Kidgets diapers from Family Dollar to test out. Kidgets’ diapers are available from Family Dollar and they are designed to help leave you with more money in your pocket while providing a great fitting and functional diaper that is gentle on baby’s skin. They are so confident in their diaper that they offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, meaning you can get your money back if you aren’t completely satisfied.

Kidgets value diapers

I selected a package of size 4 Family Dollar Kidgets diapers to test out on Kelsie who is almost 2.5 years old. She usually fits a size four and the size four Kidgets fit her as well. I did notice that the front of the diaper doesn’t seem to extend as far across her sides as other brands, but the back and sides of the diaper come up far enough so that the two overlap enough, just not as much as other brands. For this reason I would suggest ordering a size up in Kidgets diapers if your baby is close to being between sizes around the waist of other diapers. When I first pulled a size four Kidgets diaper out of the packaging, I thought it looked a bit longer than other brands but when on Kelsie it doesn’t appear any longer than other diapers and doesn’t seem to sag or bunch up between her legs.

Kelsie has a fairly thin waist but chubby thighs and Kidgets diapers managed to fit her both ways without discomfort. She’s able to wear Kidgets at night when she wets the heaviest without any issues with leaks.

Kidgets family dollar diapers

Family Dollar’s Kidgets diapers work well on Kelsie without any drawbacks, and they have the added bonus of being a more affordable diaper. These are a great diaper for Kelsie because they meet her needs while costing less than other brands, making them a great way to save money and stretch a budget. If you’re looking for a diaper that can help leave more money in your budget while keeping up with your baby stop at Family Dollar and give Kidgets a try, remember they have the 100% satisfaction guarantee.

I’d never thing of Family Dollar of having diapers! They sound like they work as well as any other diapers and the fact that they are 100% guaranteed, makes them better.

It’s hard to come by diapers that are affordable and work good. These sound great!

Family Dollar is one of my favorite stores that is just down the road a couple miles which is super convenient for me I have not heard of Kidgets diapers before but I know that these brand names can be as good as the bigger brand names. This is will be sharing with my nieces who both have a little ones in diapers. Thanks for sharing.

  • Oh wow. that is a lot of diapers to change. No wonder Moms get so tired. I guess I never realized how many times I did it.

  • It’s nice to know there are a few brands that are economical enough for parents today. I know how expensive diapers are and how many babies go through!

  • I have never heard of this brand but it sounds like it works really well. I love that it is able to accomodate unique figures like thin wastes and chunky thighs!

  • I had no Idea that FAmily Dollar had their own diapers. I will have to try them out on my daughter. Thanks for sharing a great deal!

  • Your daughter is adorable and she looks comfortable in her diapers. It’s so hard to find affordable diapers that won’t irritate a baby’s skin.

  • we spend so much on diapers. I used to purchased diapers with coupons but not anymore. So our expenses is getting higher. I definitely will look into this

  • I never tried this brand of diapers. I would be worried with the quality and their ability to hold up when my kids urinated a ton or overnight. Leaky diapers are the worst.

I swear by kidgets. Mom of 4 and it’s still my goto brand on affordability, quality, and overall dependability. I highly recommend them to anyone willing to give them a shot!!

  • I was surprised that children used that much diapers! Over 8 thousand! Wow. That is really an eye opener for parent to choose wisely when buying diapers. Thanks for letting us know about Kidgets and Family Dollar Store.

  • I don’t recall buying diapers from Family Dollar ever–wipes maybe but not diapers. I’m sure the deals are great there.

  • This looks like a great product. I love when companies stand behind their products like this. If I know that I return it for a full refund if I don’t like it, I will definitely try it!

  • Wow, this product looks awesome. This will really help since I’m going to have 2 kids soon.

  • I have never heard of kidgets diapers when my kids were little, is it a new brand? Sounds like a good one for your little one.

  • I always bought the store brand and was never unhappy with them! Those look like they would work great.

  • I’d give these diapers a try. We don’t have a Family Dollar in our area though. I can’t wait until we are finished diapering!

  • These look like really great diapers for the price!! I love finding a great deal on something I use regularly!

  • Diapers are so expensive. Cheaper diapers are often hit or miss, but these ones look like they are right on. I’m glad to hear that they do so well, even with overnight use!

  • I love that there are so many affordable options for every day household savings at Family Dollar. Families need every money saving option available when raising happy, healthy children. Awesome there are inexpensive diapers that still offer quality.

Would never have thought of Family Dollar having their own brand of diapers! Great way to save money on oh so many diapers!

  • They look like they stand up to the test. I know how expensive diapers can be and it feels like that expense never stops. Making it a little cheaper is so nice!

  • I would never have thought to check out Family Dollar for diapers. Sounds like these diapers are a win.

  • 8149 Diapers is crazy?! Maybe we will just get a puppy or another horse instead of going through that many diaper changes! Great area to save in if you’re doing potty training though.

  • That is a lot of diapers! Wow. My “baby” is 3 years old so out of diapers but I’ve bought the Kidgets diapers before and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. It held up well.

  • Rosey

Thanks for the tip to order the size up. I am glad to hear of the new to me diaper brand.

  • I am so glad I saw this! My daughter has twins and diapers are killing her! That means she will go through 16,000! I will definitely share this with her and the ones I buy for my house I will be buying these next! We go through diapers like crazy and I know she could use the extra savings!

  • There is nothing wrong with saving a few bucks and going with an off name brand. We used Members Mark for our girls.

  • Oh my! I had no idea that a child would go though that many diapers! It makes sense to definitely look for the best quantity without sacrificing quality! Seems like a great brand!

  • I can’t get over how cute the name of these diapers are. It’s good to know that they are comfortable and affordable.

  • I’m thankful that my last child is 3 years old and we are done with diapers. *Insert praise break* I do appreciate having a variety of choices to select from.

We don’t have Family Dollar around here but do have a 99 cent store chain. I’ve seen diapers there and great bargains even with name brands. Great that some moms have time for cloth diapers but when you can’t, less expensive is definitely better.

I like trying out the different brands and seeing what works best for the money. I was a Parents Choice brand user for a long time. But around the 2016 new year they changed their diapers and they don’t hold as much as they once did. And they seem smaller than they were and so don’t cover the bottom as well. A friend told me about Mom to Mom which is sold from Safeway. And if you get their free club card they Mom to Mom brand comes out to be a little over a dollar more than the Parents Choice. $15.99 for 60 size 6 diapers. And to my surprise they hold as much as a overnight Parents Choice diaper. Great product when your like me and don’t live near a family dollar.

These kidget diapers are a piece of shit and a waste of $5.50. I will never buy these stupid ass diapers again. I’m going back to parent choice.

Kidgets diapers are the worst diapers but I guess you get what you pay for the reason I dislike them, are because the strapes don’t stick well!! I tried those family dollar packs twice not happy both times!

I’am EXTREMELY disappointed in your product. I babysit for my daughter and my & month old grandson. My daughter brought a 29 count of your size4 diapers, I went to change my grandson and the first 5 diapers would not stick. What a TOTAL waste of her hard earned money. Who replaces or refunds her for horrible products such as these. Would someone please check into this matter and fix it. Thank you very much disgruntled customer. !!!

  • It’s wonderful that some women have the time to use cloth diapers, but if you don’t, less expensive is always preferable. We don’t have a Family Dollar store in our area, but we do have a 99-cent store. I’ve seen diapers there, as well as fantastic deals on branded brands.
