Thank you to Lil Monkey Climber for providing product in exchange for review! All opinions belong to myself.

Kids love being active, it’s in their nature to run climb jump and play. With todays new technology being such a big role in childrens daily life it can be hard to spark that fun exciting outside play. I hear so many parents saying their children just don’t play that often outside. We as a family have specifically set very limited screen time hours as well as including more wood based natural toys that don’t use battery of any kind.

The Lil Monkey Dome Climber is a climbing toy built of high quality plastic tubes that allow for strength as well as flex. The climber is recommended for ages 3-6 with a height of 118 cm and a width of 170. My 3 almost 4 year old is perfectly sized for this toy. My 1 year old daughter is just big enough to try and hang, but not yet climb.

Assembly was pretty easy and took about 30 minutes. Everything was labeled very clearly and the instructions were easy to follow. My 3 year old sorted every piece out for me while I then put things together.

Once things were together and sturdy my 3 year old wasted no time climbing under the structure. It wasn’t long before he had developed the sense of security to climb to the very top! My 1 year old then came running to join the fun and crawled under, followed by grabbing the highest bar she could reach and hanging confidently! I loved having a safe place for my little ones to experiment with height, climbing and their strength.Lil Monkey Climber

One of the features of the Lil Monkey Dome Climber is having an app that interacts with the climber so that you can bring together the fun of being outside and being active with the fun of technology. The app is a multi level game that keeps children running around the climber to feed the Lil monkey that shows up on the screen. You can achieve best times as well as star ratings.Lil Monkey Climber

The Lil monkey Climber was a fun addition to our outside toy area. Whenever we have new friends come over its usually the first place they all group together at. The climber is also extremely sturdy but easy to move when it comes mowing time. My little ones really enjoy having this climber to grow on.

Is it really sturdy? Looks sort of flimsy from the pictures and it’s just made out of tubes stuck together.

I’ve never heard of this company but I love the concept of this product and the app too. I visited their site and unfortunately it says shipping to the U.S. isn’t available at this time. I’ll have to look around for something similar–really like this.

Have you tried to disassemble it? Is it possible? I’m thinking of putting it up in the house but will want to be able to move it outside after the cold months. Thanks
