I have been provided with a Nutrisystem plan in exchange for sharing my honest experience and results on my blog. There is a sponsored link inserted. All opinions are my own.
Today marks the end of week 4 of Nutrisystem for Ryan. The past month of Nutrisystem has brought a lot of positive changes to our lives. I feel like Ryan has gotten really comfortable with the Nutrisystem program and it’s working really well for him. He’s finished his first shipment of Nutrisystem food now and has only found a few items that he didn’t care, while he enjoys the rest and even LOVES a few others.
This week Ryan lost 4.5 pounds from last week, bringing his total for the four weeks to 19 pounds lost. He’s now 139.5 and he started at 158.5. It was exciting this morning to weigh in to the 230’s. We had taken “before” photos the day that Ryan started Nutrisystem and he intentionally chose to wear a shirt that didn’t fit him very well. We didn’t think that five or ten pounds would necessarily show up in photos so we decided to only do photos once per month, making today our first time for “results” photos. Before seeing these photos I had noticed physical changes in Ryan but seeing these photos side by side in the same shirt was still surprising and quite exciting. The top row is from 1 month ago on day one of Nutrisystem, and the bottom row is today at the end of week 4 on Nutrisystem.
I can see changes in all three sets of photos, but I find the side view the most surprising – he’s really lost a lot out of his belly area which allows the shirt to hang much longer than it did previously. In the front on view I can see a difference in the shape of his face, it looks longer now as a result of being a bit slimmer. I can also see that the shoulder and chest area of the shirt lay differnetly on him now as a result of the loss.
Seeing the results in person are just as exciting as seeing the difference on the scale, and both provide a lot of motivation to keep going. Though I have to say, the Nutrisystem program hasn’t left Ryan feeling desire for more food or other foods so it’s not hard for him to stick to.
We are leaving tomorrow for a four-day mini vacation to a cabin, which makes me so thankful that Nutrisystem provides foods that are so easy to consume while away from home. Several Nutrisystem meals require no prep at all, and most others can be cooked in the microwave so I don’t suspect that keeping on track with Nutrisystem will be any struggle even while “camping” in a cabin.

I missed tracking the earlier posts on Ryan’s weight loss. You can really see the change here. It’s great he’s using common sense and going slow so it becomes a way of life and not just a diet.
Looks like great results from Nutrisystem! Thanks for the update!
